Girl Scout / Camp Fire USA Recognition
All counselors and facilitators should be approved by their parish and the Boy Scouts of America. Counselors must submit their "Intent to Begin" forms prior to working with youth. This form is an integral part of our commitment to compliance with Archdiocesan "Safe Environment Policies".
Youth Recognition Ceremony
Each year, our diocese holds our annual Bishop's Scouting Mass & Youth Recognition ceremony to honor those Boy and Girl Scouts, Venturing Crew members, and Camp Fire USA boys and girls. Next year, those boys and girls who have earned their awards and completed their board of review will have their awards presented by The Most Reverend Wilton D. Gregory, Archbishop of Atlanta. The Bishop's Scouting Mass will be held May 3, 2008 at St. Paul of the Cross.
