All units, Cub Packs - Boy Scout Troops and Venture or Ship units wishing to apply for the Unit Gold Medallion Award presented by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting should go to the website www.nccs-bsa.org and then go to Recognitions and Awards to the Gold Medallion. Click on this site to get to the application form to complete. Send to Tommy Treat not later than Dec 10, 2008 to be considered for the Atlanta Archdiocese nominee - there is one in each category of Packs, Troops and Venture/Ships. Our Archdiocese nominee will be forwarded to regional offices for selection process and winners notified by end of January 2009. We would like nominnes in each category so please consider nominating your outstanding units.

The National Catholic Committee on Scouting (NCCS) has various Cub and Boy Scout unit recognition programs. At the present time, NCCGSCF does not have any unit recognition programs.

Diocesan Unit Recognition

Bishop's Trophy:

Each unit competing for the Bishop’s Trophy must be an honor unit winner for the year most recently completed.
